First and second grade artists used primary colored tempera paint to mix and create the three secondary colors. After the painted papers were dry, we cut them up into strips that were used to weave on a loom.

They start by planning their cupcakes and practice drawing them on sketch paper. They are using watercolor to paint them.

Third grade artists used primary colored tempera paint to mix and create the secondary and tertiary colors. The students created a template for a shape of their choosing that was used to trace onto each color. They cut out all twelve shapes and constructed a color wheel in the correct order.
